Jennifer Stewart

Jennifer Stewart is a product designer based in Glasgow, Scotland. She combines batch production processes with traditional hand finishing techniques to create graphically-led jewellery pieces, homeware and accessories for her distinctive brand – Nmarra Design. Fashion-forward pieces are developed utilising rhythm, high contrast and structure to create bold abstract forms where the organic and abstract mathematical meet. She works with flat forms to create playful motifs, intending for each design to be eye-catching, energizing and generate a satisfying new composition that resonates with the customer.

Working in collaboration, she is interested in exploring ways to marry bold graphically-led ideas with new materials and processes, allowing the material properties and visual intentions to inform each other in synergy.
